Warrant Officer (Retired) Patrick O'Toole, CD2 joined CFN Consultants as an Associate Consultant following a distinguished 36-year career in the Canadian Armed Forces, which included 20 years as a Special Forces Operator within the Canadian Special Operations Forces Command (CANSOFCOM). He brings vast operational and tactical expertise to the firm, having served as a Special Forces Team Leader and Operational Mentor during high-profile advise-and-assist missions across Africa, the Middle East, and the Western Hemisphere, alongside multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Throughout his service, he held pivotal leadership roles in high-stakes environments, spanning CANSOFCOM Headquarters, National-level Joint Operations Centres, Combined Joint Special Operations Headquarters, and NATO Special Operations Forces Headquarters (NATO SOFCOM).
Driven by a lifelong passion for defence innovation and capabilities design, Mr. O'Toole has been at the forefront of modernizing tactical systems. He holds highly specialized expertise in precision-guided munitions and the operational integration of cutting-edge Air Warfare UAV/UAS and Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) elements within CANSOFCOM, having directly assisted in the implementation of these key new capabilities for the Canadian Army. He holds formal accreditation in Project Management from the Department of National Defence (DND), as well as Operational Design from the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Further expanding his corporate acumen, he is currently undertaking his MBA with a focus on Technology and Analytics Leadership.

At CFN, he specializes in translating complex user requirements into actionable business strategies, giving industry clients unprecedented strategic access and critical influence with key decision-makers.
