Montana Hunter

Montana Hunter graduated with his MA (distinction) in War Studies from Kings College London and his BA (honours) in History and International Relations from the University of British Columbia. He specialized in the development of unconventional armed forces in Ukraine and has published research based on his field work in Ukraine in the Calgary Journal of Military and Strategic Studies. He has worked as a freelance researcher and consultant specializing in defence policy and military simulations. In 2017 He founded (in)Security, a defence and international affairs forum with chapters in Ottawa and Vancouver.

His research expertise at CFN includes: Canadian defence policy, government relations, business intelligence, and open-source analysis. He also provides support to the CFN ITB/VP team.
